This weekend New Hope brought a spark of hope and happiness to a very young woman starting over with nothing much to her name. She had been gifted a bed but had none of the other comforts of home. With a combination of both veteran and new volunteers, we transformed her space into one that any young person would be proud of. The gently used donations came together for a beautiful blend of calm, current, and comfortable. We were able to expand her kitchen storage options into the dining area, and even gave her a makeup table due to the small size of her bathroom. She was so thankful and humbled and her text after we left stated “Thank you so much. Wow, I really love it.” As always, we thank each and every one of you that donate items, money, and time to New Hope Ministries. We are so very thankful to be able to do what we do for others in need.
